New outfit!

This very cute outfit came from Uncle Sam and Aunt Laura. It's a 3mo size; I though she would be "swimming" in it (not so as you can see). A quick wash this morning and I decided to go ahead and put it on her for the Jones Family Christmas hoop-la. She was the hit of the party, until the other newest addition came, so they shared the title. But isn't this dress just so dag-gone cute?!
She really wasn't up for the pictures, but I made her sit up and she wasn't a huge fan of that. She really just wanted to lay down and go back to sleep.
Looking ever so thoughtful... or just wondering if filling her diaper like this would make it leak out the sides.

Santa Baby

This would have been a picture with all the kids but Aidan was having issues. Dad took him over to Santa (being played by a family friend) and as soon as they were close enough to touch Aidan pulled a Christmas story move. He screamed and cried and had a death grip around grandpa's neck. Aidan likes the idea of Santa and the pictures and movies.... just not the real thing yet.

This was the first year Erica wanted to sit on his lap. Before she was always a bit unsure. But she ran to the room and waited her turn, then jumped on his lap when she could.

Our Tree

Dad brought over our christmas tree and helped set it up for us. Mom helped with the lights. Erica ans Aidan "helped" with the decorating.... can you see the 'L' shape of ornament placement? Well because I forgot to put up the silver garland I figured I could "fix" things a bit when they went to bed.

This is what I did. You can't see a lot of the ornaments cause I put some in the tree. But when Erica got up the next day and saw the tree she said "who messed up our tree?!" I guess there is no more fooling her. I told her maybe some big elf came along and "messed" it up. She was fine with that answer.

Our tree with the pretty lights on. My favorite thing to do is turn all the lights off and turn the tree on and just sit like that at night. All the lights reflecting off the tinsel, ornaments and wall... very pretty!

Sofia Alexandra Webb

Here is the short story: went into labor (new concept for me) thursday night around 6ish, didn't know it until 12:45am on friday. Started to time the contractions, they were 1-3min apart. Called the doc, she said come in; called up parents and they came rushing over. Got the the hospital and in my room by 3:30am, got some kind of drug to ease the pain sometime later, by 7:30 am I had the doc and nurses runnin around, she was born by 8:04am December 5 2008.

Her stats: 9 lbs 0.7 oz (biggest grand-baby to date on my side), 20 1/2" long, and her head was 13 3/4". She felt big but she really doesn't look all that big does she...

I love this one.

A nice big yawn. I love the fact that she will be sleeping for most of the day and night. It will make my job a bit easier.

These next two are really cute. She hasn't started to suck her thumb yet, but she did suck on some of her fingers at the hospital.

Pictures from Aunty Amy

Aunt Amy and Grandma Webb came last week (12th) for a visit. I have never had a "baby bump" picture taken of me with the other two kids, so I got one. This is about how big I got with the other two as well. Pay no attention to the hair... I don't fuss with it anymore.

This is my favorite! When anyone leaves my kids HAVE to look out the window to watch. This is generally what everyone will see when they leave my house at night. My dad loves it when they do this when he comes "I can just see a silhouette of a body and the blinds move". I'm in the background figuring out what to have for dinner, when I looked up I just saw Amy leave the window and head back to the car.

Aidan with Grandma Webb, he really was happy to be with her despite the look on his face.

My Boo! Yes, she still looks like me with very little Jeff.

Erica was so happy to have Alison down to play, even if it was only for a few hours. She just loves her cousin! Aidan was mostly happy to have someone else pay attention to him, mommy is lackin the effort right now.

Parade of Costumes

You already seen pictures of Erica's costume. This is what Aidan wore and no one said anything about him not being dressed up. Mom made him a little shirt with a mouse in a pumpkin and he wore that over his regular shirt.

This is my niece Saidee, she was Dumba (not Dumbo). She went out with us in Grandpa Adams' arms, but she didn't last too long. She wanted to sleep more than join in the fun.

This is my nephew Aylor. He was the cutest giraffe ever! What made this even more cute was the fact that he had on a monkey leash... that boy has so much energy he would have been way down the street before we could catch up. So he was a giraffe with a monkey on his back.

All the kids just loved going out to get candy. Erica would say after EVERY house "can we go to another house?" Then Aidan would ask "noder house?" I couldn't get him to say Trick or Treat but he always said Thank You. Surprisingly enough he has a small stash of candy that he can eat, whether he eats if or not is the real question.

Night Of Tricks

After we took the kids around to get candy (for mommy and daddy of course) Aunt Katy asked Erica to help her pass out the candy. Well the boys wanted to help too. She had her hands full keeping them from giving ALL the candy away at once and taking turns giving the candy to the kids.

The real trick was keeping Aylor and Aidan from eating the candy. Aylor was too quick, by the time we would catch him he already had the candy unwrapped and in his mouth. Aidan was a bit slower so he was easy to catch. The pile of wrappers is only SOME of what Aylor got to that we took away.

Trunk-or-Treat

OK, so she was this last year... but it was still in great condition and this time she has a mask. I also braided her hair this year. She was so excited when I told her it was the ward Halloween party, the party itself was nothing big. But both my kids won something in the cake walk. Yes, that's right, Aidan won stuff he couldn't eat.

We tried to get Aidan to come with Erica to the cat to get a picture. He had no desire to leave grandma's side. The cat did scare him a little. There is no picture of him in a costume cause he doesn't have one. He's not gonna go trick-or-treating since there are too many things he can't eat, that would be just cruel.

And for those of you who don't have the greatest eyesight... Erica WON! She got the prize for cutest costume and I didn't even tell others to vote for her. I'll admit I put two votes in for her. Grandma was gonna do the same but she can't change her handwriting like I can. So that means she really was the cutest out there.

So this little guy isn't my kid, but who could pass up taking a picture of little Yoda!? This little guy's whole family showed up as different Star Wars characters, from the new and old films.

Pooped After Party

We had a visit with Grandma and Grandpa Webb on Monday. Of course Aidan didn't get his normal nap in, he was too excited and wanted to show Grandma everything. Well, I took Erica to a doctors appointment and this is what I found when we came home. Jeff admitted he had no idea cause he was upstairs on the computer... the sudden quiet would have worried me a bit.

Random Days

Just the boy eating one of his favorite snacks, apple rice cakes. He'll eat the whole bag if you let him.

Don't know who he was looking out for, but he still loves to watch for people on the back of the couch. If only i could get him to keep his pants on!

We went to the Fall Festival in town and saw all the "pretty cars" (classic/muscle cars) and took a look at the things for sale. Erica is so like her grandma in this picture... has to look at all the pretty wood things. FYI, the festival is the place to get the best home-made doughnuts (in grandma's white bag).

I was so tired after the festival that I took a nap on the couch and let the kids play. This is what they did... their first fort. Not as big as we can get it, but they didn't have enough blankets.

Erica hiding in her fort. She was so upset when I told her it was time to clean up.

Helping Hands

Jeff was doing some exercises after lunch, one leg squats. At first Erica was doing them right with him (her way of course) and then all she did was laugh at him. Jeff can't quite do them and the results were making Erica laugh. She did try to help him when he asked, but she was too weak from laughter.

Daddy-Daughter Time

Jeff does what he can to spend as much time with the kids before he leaves for work. Despite Erica in he pj's this was in the early afternoon. She asked daddy to come and sit and he decided to color with her while his lunch heated up.

I never saw a more serious color session before.... I think he only colored the kitten and let Erica finish up.

Little Doggie

Aidan decided to take his plate and put it on the floor... walk around it and then...
Eat like 'doooggie' or Duke (my brother's dog). It was actually very funny, until I saw the mess he was making on my floor. I let him do it so I couldn't get mad. Can we say bath time?

Brag Time

I only taught Erica how to draw the letter A. At school they have only gone over M,R and S. Erica basically taught herself how to draw most of the other letters, thanks to a 'learn to write' dry-erase book that Grandma Adams got her. She is missing a few claiming she didn't know how to write them. That gets her frustrated and I'm the one who has to calm her down (used to be the other way around).

Kids Can Play Nice

Ok, so I figured out the 'glowing' issue on my pictures... a nice smudge on the lense (thanks grandpa). Anyways, this is to prove that my kids do play nice together sometimes.
And yes, it was another day of pulling out all the toys. And just so you know, Aidan's new thing is to go around the house without his pants on. I put them on in the morning but by nap time he has taken them off and refuses to put them back on.

Mass of Toys

We have a lot of toys under the t.v. Aidan usually only pulls out a few, mostly his train and a selective few noise makers. But this day he wanted all the toys out. And when he discovered the cars from Aunt Amy and from Grandpa Adams he went nuts. "So that's where they have been!" seemed to be what he was thinking.
His biggest surprise was finding "mween". He likes Lightning McQueen a bit more than his trains and other cars.

It's PINK!!!

My good neighbor Cindy gave Erica some new p.j's. Her daughter never wore them and figured Erica would like to have them. How right she was! As soon as Erica saw the 'pink nightmare' (for you dad) she wanted to put them on right away. The down side is it's about two sizes too big! She had to pick up the legs in order to walk anywhere, but she wanted to wear them and loved every minute of it. What makes this more funny is that Aidan's p.js are just about too small... starting to squeeze him into them.

All Better

As you can see the boy is fine! The wonderful doctor gave some wonderful medicine and we have our beautiful boy back. Well this is actually about two weeks after the medicine. but he is a happy child.
Don't know what is with the glowing pictures, but that's ok. Aidan was willing to pose for a picture.
This is what he does when "dee-dee" isn't home. He sits in his chair and watches his movies or plays with everything that he throws on the floor.
